This week’s blog is about one our most popular products – Wessex Boat Wash (also known as Marine 100). This highly concentrated and environmentally friendly boat wash was designed specifically to be used to clean GRP fibreglass hulls on boats and yachts.
However, since it was launched, we have been told by our customers that it also effective on non-slip decks, metal parts, railings and teak deck. In fact, because it is safe to use on aluminium and rubber it can be used anywhere on your boat or yacht!
The Wessex Boat Wash formulation will lift of dirt, grime, grease, scum marks on hulls, black streaks and even bird lime. We recommend a dilution of 600 parts water to 1 part Wessex Boat Wash and so it is very economical to use. It can be applied by sponge, mop or by a pressure washer if you prefer. As it is 100% biodegradable it can be safely used on your boat or yacht in or out of the water without environmental concerns.
